PFLP, DFLP announce initiative for united Palestinian left front

From the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, June 5:

On May 29, 2008, three Palestinian Left organizations, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Palestine People’s Party, announced the inception of a Palestinian Left Front.

The aim of this initiative is to move discussion and dialogue into action in order to unite the Palestinian Left, and emerged after a series of dialogues in the West Bank, Gaza, and Damascus.

The next step in the initiative, the organizations announced, is to hold new dialogues open to more forces and participants, and to prepare new documents to present a united Palestinian left program in confrontation of occupation, engaging in the social and democratic Palestinian struggle, and raising the interests of the working and impoverished classes.
