A protest in the rebel-held Syrian town of Kafranbel on the five-year anniversary of the uprising against Bashar Assad. Radio Fresh in Kafranbel broadcasts programming advocating human rights, secularism and gender equality. When it was raided by militants of the Nusra Front and one of its journalists abducted, residents took to the streets and the Internet in a successful campaign to demand the reporter's release and the station's return to the airwaves.
