A friend writes, translating from the Feb. 27 edition of the Turkish journal Aksam:
At the moment Turkey wishes to enter into Europe, the ideological book of Adolf
Hitler entitled "Mein Kampf," forbidden in Germany, is a success in Turkey. One
edition of the book recently sold 30,000 copies in just 15 days.
The Jewish community of Istanbul is indignant over these facts, saying they indicate
rising anti-semitism in Turkey.
