Iraq: civil resistance campaign to free detainees

From the Iraq Freedom Congress (IFC), April 15:

IFC Launches an International Campaign to Free the Iraqi Detainees Being Held In the U.S. Camps in Iraq
As a result of the new Bush security plan in Iraq, hundreds of people have been randomly detained. In fact, the plan meant to spread fear among people to preclude them from any opposition to the occupation.

Iraq Freedom Congress condemns this inhumane U.S. policy that aims to oppress people at all costs and is launching an international campaign to release those detainees who were jailed without charges being filed.

Hence, Iraq Freedom Congress calls upon all freedom lovers, humanitarian organizations and individuals to support this campaign by writing letters to your MPs, Congress members and U.S. embassies around the world in which you express your concerns about the fate of those detainees.

Remember, every word you write is crucial in pressing the U.S. government to speed up the release and well treatment of the detainees.
