It's an irony that the Electoral College—the very institution that got us into this mess—now holds the only hope of getting us out. Writing in The Villager, Bill Weinberg examines initiatives for the electors to refuse to seat Donald Trump as president. This would fulfill precisely the function the Electoral College was designed for: keeping a dangerous demagogue out of office. Weinberg advocates support for this idea on moral and tactical grounds, in spite of its slim odds.
