No more paramilitaries in Colombia?

Threatening graffiti in Turbo, Colombia. A new group calling itself the Autodefensas Gaitanistas de Colombia (AGC) shut down the entire region of Urabá Oct. 15 in what it called an “armed strike,” ordering all businesses to close. Businesses complied, fearing reprisals. Urabá was for many years a stronghold of the now officially “demobilized” Autodefensas Unidas de Colombia (AUC).
